Terms of service

1. What Elyvanta is

Elyvanta is a learning guide for college students: courses, a roadmap, real projects with milestones, and an AI mentor that gives hints before answers. You build the projects on your own computer — Elyvanta never runs your code.

We help you learn and decide what to do next. We don't promise grades, internships, jobs or any other outcome; that depends on the work you put in.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or have your parent or guardian's permission to use Elyvanta and to pay for a plan.
• Give accurate details and keep your password private. One account is for one person — don't share it.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has used it.

3. Plans and access

• Some lessons and projects are free. Paid plans unlock either one course or the complete roadmap (every course).
• A plan gives access for 365 days from the moment your payment is confirmed. Buying the same plan again extends it.
• Upgrading from a single course to the complete roadmap costs the full complete-roadmap price; there is no credit for the course you already bought.
• Prices are shown in USDT on the pricing and checkout pages. Coupon codes have their own conditions (which plan, how many uses, valid dates) and a price never goes below the minimum shown at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases; a price you already paid doesn't change.
• Access is personal. Don't resell, share or publish paid content.

4. Paying with crypto

• We accept USDT (BEP20) on BNB Smart Chain only. Each checkout shows an exact amount and our receiving address, valid for 30 minutes.
• Send the exact amount shown, on the right network. Exchanges and wallets may deduct fees — the amount that arrives must match. Network fees are yours to pay.
• Access opens automatically once the transfer is confirmed on-chain, usually within a minute. An exact payment that arrives up to 24 hours after the checkout expires is still accepted.
• Payments sent on the wrong network, in the wrong token or to the wrong address may be lost and may not be recoverable by us.
• We will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Anyone who does is not us.
• What happens with overpayments, underpayments and refunds is set out in the Refund policy. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

5. The AI mentor

• The mentor is an AI system. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date — check what it tells you, and don't treat it as professional, legal, financial or medical advice.
• It is designed to teach, so it gives hints before full answers. There is a daily message limit.
• Follow your college's rules on AI help. Don't submit the mentor's output as your own work where that isn't allowed.
• Don't paste passwords, API keys or other people's personal data into the mentor.

6. Fair use

Don't use Elyvanta to:

• break the law, harass anyone, or post anything harmful, hateful or that you don't have the right to share;
• scrape, copy or redistribute the curriculum, or access the service with bots or automated tools;
• probe, attack or overload our systems, get around access controls or usage limits, or access other people's data;
• misuse the mentor — for example to generate spam or content unrelated to learning at scale.

7. Content and ownership

• The courses, lessons, projects, hints, design and software are ours (or our licensors'). While you have access, you may use them for your own learning — not commercially.
• The code and projects you build are yours. Anything you submit to us (such as a commit link or a mentor message) stays yours; you let us store and process it to run the service.

8. Changes, suspension and ending

• Elyvanta is new and still changing. We may add, change or remove features and content, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If a change removes the main thing you paid for, contact us and we'll make it right.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Access ended because of a breach is not refunded.
• You can stop using Elyvanta at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy policy).

9. Liability

We provide Elyvanta "as is" and do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts of India.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app before they apply. Continuing to use Elyvanta after that means you accept the new terms.
